Searcys @ The Gherkin

We were presented with a fantastic opportunity of designing and installing a new bar on Level 40 at the iconic London landmark, 30 St Mary Axe.

To achieve a timeless look, we applied a bronze metal finish to a black back and combined this with a contrasting lighter bar top. For the bar frontage we designed a bespoke fretwork pattern to reflect the geometric window design of the Gherkin building itself. Operationally we introduced two cocktail stations with speed rails and ice wells to support the new cocktail menu, as well as maximising refrigeration and storage space.

The refurbishment also included lobby doors in the restaurant and a new desk where customers are greeted prior making their way to the hospitality areas. The bronze fretwork design features on all of these elements to link all the floors occupied by Searcys.
