World Autism Awareness Day

Today is World Autism Awareness Day, an international day aimed at spreading awareness & increasing acceptance of Autism.

Autism is an extremely complex condition, which affects everyone differently. Research from Dr Magda Mostafa’s interview in Your Autism Magazine explains that Autism friendly design requires ‘interpretation rather than a set of hard-and-fast rules’. As designers, we have a responsibility to be more understanding & creative in our design approach.
