We were asked to improve communication between the restaurant kitchen and front of house. We removed the existing counter introducing an open pass, chilled ambient display and coffee bar, vastly improving efficiency, creating a more open and contemporary feel and providing the ideal backdrop to showcase the centre’s renowned home-baked cakes and pastries.
Our partnership with CDG has exceeded our expectations. Our catering space is the engine room of the garden centre. We didn’t want to put pressure on our existing infrastructure by increasing the number of covers - we simply wanted to make the operation and the customer experience slicker. Our relationship with CDG is not short term, quite the opposite, this is about the long term evolution of our business and I very much look forward to the next phase in our partnership.
