Our design echos the pub’s countryside location, featuring tweed fabrics, reclaimed materials, and quirky stamp and coin artwork depicting the pub name. Set in a conservation area, close liaison with planning officers was key, as was the involvement of structural engineer to advise on re-connecting an under-used room to the main bar.
"Since the refurbishment average sales have increased by 35%. The patio landscaping has increased our external capacity to 180 covers by using the building to its full potential and this July we had a 55% increase in sales - it was fantastic! We now have greater scope to expand the business and are constantly asked to do outside parties, large events and weddings, which simply wouldn’t have been possible before.
