We were engaged to design a new flexible food service area in the new atrium and lecture theatre facility at the university. The facility had to be integrated into part of the older existing building as well as the new. Specific areas were designed to provide themed food points, with an open kitchen to give visibility of the food production. The majority of counters within the atrium had to be mobile to allow the area to be flexible for events.
