We blended a vibrant colour pallette with printed table tops and ‘bunting-style’ wall graphics to create a bright and quirky feel to the space. The varnished wood ceiling and window frames were lifted by a paint finish and colonial-style ceiling fans. The kitchen was updated with extra storage, a compact cook area for small order hot food.
"The purpose of the refurbishment was to create a destination-type catering facility that would help boost the spend per head of visitors and this had definitely been achieved. The new facilities have added more than 100 extra covers to the catering operation and, while it is still early days, I am confident that the new refurbishment is achieving our objectives"
